Renting the 2021 Ford Escape SEL

For a car while yours is off the road, here is what the 2021 Ford Escape SEL brings, and how to request one. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly.

The Escape and Knobs

Knobs is about 692 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area. If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Knobs.

Other places near Knobs: Johnson Crossroads, Elmhurst and Union.

Specs, explained

It uses the 1.5L 3-cylinder turbo and front-wheel drive. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

Expect about 23 litres for every 300 km, going by its 7.8 L/100 km combined rating. A weekend of 300 km comes to about $36.27 at our price setting.

Best uses

Families, skiers and anyone with bulky luggage. It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while.

Practical details

As a compact SUV, it sits higher than a sedan, which makes getting in and loading easier.

Rent this car

Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner.

The rules, briefly

Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. The daily young driver fee is shown on each car's page, for drivers under 26. The payment card and the licence must match the driver's name.

Every rate includes liability to others. Damage to the car is covered by your choice: OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.

How it works

You ask for the car online with your dates, and you pay nothing to send it. We answer with a written offer: the car, the dates, the price and the deposit. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.

Each car shows its rate for a day, a weekend day, a week and a month. One booking runs up to 365 days, and a longer stay renews with a new agreement. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.
