Renting the 2001 Ford Excursion
For a car while yours is off the road, the 2001 Ford Excursion could fit; below, the figures and how booking works. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it.
Engine and fuel
The EPA does not rate this model year for fuel use; heavier trucks and vans are often not rated.
What the Excursion is like
Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk.
Who the Excursion suits
It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits commuters, couples and business trips.
Renting it
None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.
How it works
You ask for the car you want for the dates you need. The request itself is free. A person replies with an offer priced for your dates, not an estimate. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.
Each car shows its rate for a day, a weekend day, a week and a month. From 7 days, the weekly rate takes over. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.
Renting: the basics
Ontario G2 or G licence holders aged 18 and up can request a car. If any driver is under 26, a young driver fee is added for each day. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.
The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. Each extra driver is checked the same way and signs the rental agreement.
Want a price?
Ready? Request the car. If you change your mind before approving the offer, nothing is charged.

Can I rent a 2001 Ford Excursion in Toronto?
Not from our fleet right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile 6 similar cars are available below.
How old do I need to be to rent?
18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.
How much is the deposit?
Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.
What coverage do I need?
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.
Can the car be delivered?
Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $75 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
