The Explorer and Weitchpec

Weitchpec is about 3,612 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area. If you need it in Weitchpec itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.

The pages for Weitchpec / Wechpues, Ertelger / Pekwtuehl and Waseck / Wahsekw cover the areas next door.

Engine and fuel

The 2.3L 4-cylinder turbo is what moves it, with four-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. Four-wheel drive helps on rough ground and deep snow; on dry roads it behaves like any other vehicle.

For 300 km of mixed driving, expect about 34 litres, from its 11.4 L/100 km rating. In money, 1,000 km costs about $176.70 at our price setting.

Practical details

As a full-size SUV, it sits higher than a sedan, which makes getting in and loading easier.

Who rents the Explorer

Families, skiers and anyone with bulky luggage. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.

Rent it from us

Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car.

Booking, step by step

All you send at first is a request with the car and the dates, and it is free. We confirm and price it, and the offer arrives in your account and by email. Approve the offer to book the car. That is the moment you pay, not before.

A car's page shows the deposit and the kilometres included each day. From 7 days, the weekly rate takes over. With 2 hours of notice or more, a same-day pickup can work when the car is free.

Renting: the basics

Every driver must be 18 or older with an Ontario G2 or G licence. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.

Every rate includes third-party liability. The car itself needs one of three options: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken shortly before pickup, and the balance comes back after the return. We verify licences and identity for every renter, with no exceptions.
