The Lexus SC: Courtesy car

The Lexus SC is on this page for courtesy car: here is what to know before you request one. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it.

Under the hood

No fuel-use rating is published for this model year, so we leave those figures out.

What the SC is like

As a sports car, it puts the driving first and the luggage second.

Who it is for

It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.

Can you rent one?

Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.

The booking steps

Every booking starts as a request: the car, the dates and where you want it. Nothing is charged to send one. An offer follows, with the car we confirm and the full price for your dates. Pay when you approve, not a minute before.

The rates you see on a car's page are the rates in your offer. For longer stays, each booking of up to 365 days renews with a new agreement. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.

Driver requirements

If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. Drivers under 26 can rent with a young driver fee each day. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.

Talk to a person

Ask for the car, read the offer, approve it if it suits you.
