The 1500 and Bald Knobs

Bald Knobs is about 568 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area. We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Bald Knobs starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here.

Around Bald Knobs you will also find Merritt, Stiversville and Oldtown Flats.

The numbers in plain words

Its powertrain is the 6.2L 8-cylinder supercharged with four-wheel drive. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Four-wheel drive helps on rough ground and deep snow; on dry roads it behaves like any other vehicle.

Plan on about 59 litres per 300 km; the combined rating is 19.8 L/100 km. In money, 1,000 km costs about $346.50 at our price setting.

Best uses

It suits moving day, renovation runs and anything that needs an open bed. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.

The 1500 in everyday use

It is built for loads that would never fit in a trunk.

Can you rent one?

We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer.

How it works

Every booking starts as a request: the car, the dates and where you want it. Nothing is charged to send one. The offer comes from a person, not a robot, and it carries the full price. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.

The rates you see on a car's page are the rates in your offer. Book by the week from 7 days, or by the month up to 365 days. A pickup can be as soon as 2 hours after your request, when the car is free.

What we check

Ontario G2 or G licence holders aged 18 and up can request a car. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. We check that the card and the licence carry the same name.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. We check every driver; it takes a few minutes and protects everyone.
