Van rental: the 2021 Ram 1500 TRX

For a van or a seven-seat car, the 2021 Ram 1500 TRX could fit; below, the figures and how booking works. Seven seats or more take a whole group in one vehicle.

Bald Knobs and the 1500

If you need it in Bald Knobs itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help. CarmaCars is based in Toronto, about 568 km from Bald Knobs, and does not deliver there.

The pages for Merritt, Stiversville and Oldtown Flats cover the areas next door.

Under the hood

Its 6.2L 8-cylinder supercharged drives through an 8-speed automatic. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Four-wheel drive helps on rough ground and deep snow; on dry roads it behaves like any other vehicle.

A combined rating of 19.8 L/100 km works out to about 59 litres per 300 km. At our price setting, it costs about $34.65 to drive 100 km.

The 1500 in everyday use

It is built for loads that would never fit in a trunk.

Who it is for

It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.

Can I rent it?

Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner.

How a booking comes together

Pick the car and the dates that suit you, then send a request. There is no payment at that point. We confirm the details and send an offer. It lists the rental, any delivery and any add-ons. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.

Every car has its own daily, weekend, weekly and monthly rate. The longer the booking, the lower the rate a day tends to be. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.

Who qualifies

Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. The card you pay with must be yours, and you bring it to the handover.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is priced in your offer by car and driver age, as one of three options for damage to the car. The deposit is taken shortly before pickup, and the balance comes back after the return. Before confirming, we verify the licence and identity of each driver.
