Specs, explained

Power comes from the electric motor, driving through a 1-speed automatic. Being electric, it is quiet and quick from a stop, and it charges at home, at work or at public chargers. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

Rated energy use is 18.6 kWh per 100 km. Its rated range is 507 km on a full charge; real range drops in cold weather and at highway speeds. The electricity for 100 km comes to about $2.79 at our price setting.

Best uses

It suits city driving and anyone with charging at home or work. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.

What to expect from the Model 3

Being a mid-size car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. The EPA measures its luggage space at 425 litres, roughly a family's bags for a long weekend.

Rent it from us

There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Meanwhile, 7 similar cars are listed below. Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. We hand every car over in person, at your address or at our location.

How to book

To book, you request the car for your dates. There is no charge to send it and no obligation. A real person reviews your request and sends an offer with the price spelled out. Your card is charged only when you approve the offer.

Every car on the site has a page of its own, with its calendar and its rates. From 7 days, the weekly rate applies; up to 365 days, a trip never costs more than the monthly rate. A pickup can be as soon as 2 hours after your request, when the car is free.

Driver basics

Ontario G2 or G licence holders aged 18 and up can request a car. If any driver is under 26, a young driver fee is added for each day. At pickup, have your original licence and the payment card ready.

Liability to other people is included in every rate. For the car itself, pick your own policy (OPCF 27), a card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits differ by car. Each car's page shows its amount. Name every driver in your request, and each is checked before pickup.
