The figures, translated

The 1.8L 4-cylinder does the work, through an automatic (CVT). It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

Plan on about 23 litres per 300 km; the combined rating is 7.5 L/100 km. Expect about $11.63 per 100 km at our price setting.

How big it is

A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. The EPA lists 368 litres for luggage, roughly about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Good uses for the Corolla

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.

Rules for renters

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more are the starting point. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. At pickup, have your original licence and the payment card ready.

Every rate includes third-party liability. The car itself needs one of three options: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.

Requesting a car

Pick the car and the dates that suit you, then send a request. There is no payment at that point. You get an offer that says exactly what the rental costs before tax. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.

Each car has its own page with its photos, its rates and its calendar. Rent for a day, a week or up to 365 days in one booking. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.
