Arranging the work for the Tucson
CarmaCars does not do this work itself. For an emissions test on the 2016 Hyundai Tucson Ultimate, we arrange it with a trusted shop or connect you with one. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.
About your Tucson
Tell the shop the year, the trim and the engine: the 1.6L 4-cylinder turbo. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. The 1.6L 4-cylinder turbo with front-wheel drive is the powertrain to look at.
Who does what
You agree everything with the shop before work begins. We tell you plainly if we do not know a shop for the job. You approve the shop's quote before any work.
Good habits for your car
Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance.
Talking to the shop
If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts.
Renting for Java
