Emissions test: how we help
For an emissions test on the Saturn SW2, CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop and rents you a car while yours is in. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.
Details the shop needs
Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them. If you have the service history of your SW2, have it ready for the shop.
How we help
We follow up until the shop has the car booked in. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. You agree the price with the shop before any work starts.
Your rental while you wait
A rental keeps your week on track during the repair. Keep the rental as long as the repair takes. We bring the car to your address in the Toronto area, or you collect it for free.
Between shop visits
Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Check that all lights work every few weeks. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old.
A short checklist
Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected.
Ready when you are
Ask in your request, and we tell you plainly what we can arrange.
Request emissions test
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
