The Azure Dynamics: Engine repair
CarmaCars does not do mechanical work. For engine work on the Azure Dynamics, we connect you with a trusted shop. An engine that runs rough, smokes or overheats needs a look soon.
Your car, your notes
Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed.
The steps
The shop sets the price and the time after seeing the car. You approve the shop's quote before any work. You agree the price with the shop before any work starts.
A rental while you wait
Rent by the day while the shop has your car. We deliver the rental to you and collect it when your car is ready. Collect the car at our location for free, or have it delivered.
Between shop visits
Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive.
Before the shop starts
Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back.
Ready when you are
One request: the job, the car, and whether you need a rental meanwhile.
Request engine repair
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
