CarmaCars does not do this work; you keep driving while the shop has your car. We deliver a rental to you, by the day, at our usual rates.

The CODA: Engine repair
The CODA and engine work: CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop, and never does the work itself. An engine that runs rough, smokes or overheats needs a look soon.
Your car, your notes
Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car.
What we arrange
We keep you posted until the car is booked in. We pass your request to a trusted shop or give you its name. You approve the shop's quote before any work.
A rental while you wait
Rent by the day while the shop has your car. We collect the rental when your car is back. The handover is in person, at your address or at our location.
Between shop visits
Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. Look at the tire tread before long trips.
Before the shop starts
Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there.
Want a price?
Ask us, and we tell you whether we can arrange it.
Request engine repair
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
