Your car, your notes
Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them. Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the 500. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car.

Small things that help
Check that all lights work every few weeks. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance.
Getting a clear quote
Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected.
When you know your dates
