The Fiat: Engine repair
Need engine work for your Fiat? We do not do mechanical work, but we arrange it with a trusted shop and keep you driving meanwhile. An engine that runs rough, smokes or overheats needs a look soon.
Your car, your notes
The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request.
Who does what
We do not set the shop's price or promise a date. The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work. We tell you plainly if we do not know a shop for the job.
A rental while you wait
Rent by the day or the week, and stop when your car is back. Keep moving with a rental while the shop has your car, by the day at our usual rates. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.
Small things that help
Check that all lights work every few weeks. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter.
Before the shop starts
Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up.
Still deciding?
Describe the problem, and we arrange a trusted shop.
Request engine repair
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
