The Geo: Engine repair
CarmaCars does not do this work itself. For engine work on the Geo, we arrange it with a trusted shop or connect you with one. An engine that runs rough, smokes or overheats needs a look soon.
Your car, your notes
Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request.
How the request works
The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. Send a request with the car and what it needs; a person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. We tell you plainly if we do not know a shop for the job.
A car meanwhile
We can have a rental ready the day your car goes in. A rental keeps your week on track during the repair. We hand every car over in person, at your address or at our location.
A short checklist
Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history.
Good habits for your car
Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires. Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell.
Next step
Ask in your request, and we tell you plainly what we can arrange.
Request engine repair
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
