The Jeep Cherokee: Engine repair

Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter.
A short checklist
Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare.
