Arranging the work for the ES
Need engine work for the 2004 Lexus ES? We arrange it with a trusted shop; the work is never done by CarmaCars. Engine work ranges from a leak to a rebuild; the shop inspects the car and quotes it.
About your ES
The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. Tell the shop the year, the trim and the engine: the 3.3L 6-cylinder. If you have the service history of your ES, have it ready for the shop. Power comes from the 3.3L 6-cylinder, driving through a 5-speed automatic.
The steps
We do not set the shop's price or promise a date. Send a request with the car and what it needs; a person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. Send the car's details and what it needs; we take it from there.
Your rental while you wait
We can have a rental ready the day your car goes in. A rental from us keeps you moving while the shop has your car. Your offer shows any delivery fee before you pay.
Talking to the shop
Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back.
Good habits for your car
Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months.
Ready to ask?
Ask, and we tell you plainly what we can arrange.
Request engine repair
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
