Your Lexus needs engine work? We do not do mechanical work, but we arrange it and rent you a car meanwhile. Engine work ranges from a leak to a rebuild; the shop inspects the car and quotes it.
Your car, your notes
A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare. Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them. Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop.
Our part and the shop's part
You agree the price with the shop before any work starts. You agree everything with the shop before work begins. The shop sets the price and the time after seeing the car.
A rental while you wait
We collect the rental when your car is back. Rent by the day while the shop has your car. Collect the car at our location for free, or have it delivered.
Between shop visits
Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule.
Before the shop starts
Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour.
