Engine repair: how we help
Need engine work for the Lexus LC? We arrange it with a trusted shop; the work is never done by CarmaCars. An engine that runs rough, smokes or overheats needs a look soon.
Your LC and the shop
Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the LC. Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them. Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop.
How we help
We tell you plainly if we do not know a shop for the job. We pass your request to a trusted shop or give you its name. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date.
Driving while yours is at the shop
Pick a car that suits your week from our fleet. The rental is priced like any other on our site. We bring the car to your address in the Toronto area, or you collect it for free.
A short checklist
Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon.
Between shop visits
Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter.
Send a request
Tell us what is wrong with the car, and we arrange the rest with a trusted shop.
Request engine repair
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
Rent a car while yours is in in Toronto
