Engine repair: how we help
Engine repair for the 2022 Lexus RC: the work is done by a shop we trust, never by CarmaCars. Engine work ranges from a leak to a rebuild; the shop inspects the car and quotes it.
Your car, your notes
If you have the service history of your RC, have it ready for the shop. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the RC. Power comes from the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo, driving through an 8-speed automatic.
Our part and the shop's part
The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. We tell you plainly if we do not know a shop for the job. You agree everything with the shop before work begins.
No car? Rent one meanwhile
A rental from us keeps you moving while the shop has your car. We bring the rental to you and collect it afterwards. Your offer shows the delivery fee if you want the car brought to you.
Car care, briefly
Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them.
Talking to the shop
Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for.
Ready to ask?
Send the car's details and the job, and we take the next step.
Request engine repair
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
