The Polestar 4: Engine repair
For engine work on the Polestar 4, a trusted shop does the work and CarmaCars arranges it, with a rental if you need one. Engine work ranges from a leak to a rebuild; the shop inspects the car and quotes it.
Your 4 and the shop
Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them.
How we help
You agree the price with the shop before any work starts. Send a request with the car and what it needs; a person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. We can deliver a rental to you while your car is at the shop.
A car meanwhile
Keep moving with a rental while the shop has your car, by the day at our usual rates. A rental from us keeps you moving while the shop has your car. Delivery covers the Toronto area, priced by distance in your offer; pickup from us is free.
Car care, briefly
Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can.
Questions to ask the shop
Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours.
Send a request
A short request starts it: the car, the problem, and when suits you.
Request engine repair
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
