The Renault: Engine repair
Your Renault needs engine work? We do not do mechanical work, but we arrange it and rent you a car meanwhile. An engine that runs rough, smokes or overheats needs a look soon.
Your car, your notes
Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare.
Who does what
We tell you plainly if we do not know a shop for the job. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date.
A car meanwhile
If the repair runs long, keep the rental longer. We bring the rental to you and collect it afterwards. We deliver across the Toronto area, or you collect the car from our location for free.
Good habits for your car
Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt.
A short checklist
Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for.
Ask us
Need a rental too? Add it to the same request.
Request engine repair
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
