Engine repair: how we help
For engine work on your Saturn LS1, we arrange a trusted shop; CarmaCars does not do the work. An engine that runs rough, smokes or overheats needs a look soon.
Your LS1 and the shop
If you have the service history of your LS1, have it ready for the shop. The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed.
How we help
Send the car's details and what it needs; we take it from there. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. Send a request with the car and what it needs; a person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one.
No car? Rent one meanwhile
We deliver the rental to you and collect it when your car is ready. The rental is priced like any other on our site. Pick it up from us for free, or have it brought to you.
Getting a clear quote
Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours.
Between shop visits
Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule.
Send a request
Need the work and a rental? One request covers both.
Request engine repair
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
