The 2017 Toyota Corolla CE: Engine repair
For engine work on your 2017 Toyota Corolla CE, we arrange a trusted shop; CarmaCars does not do the work. An engine that runs rough, smokes or overheats needs a look soon.
Your Corolla and the shop
Tell the shop the year, the trim and the engine: the 1.8L 4-cylinder. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. Power: the 1.8L 4-cylinder; drive: front-wheel drive.
How the request works
You agree the price with the shop before any work starts. Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name. We tell you plainly if we do not know a shop for the job.
A short checklist
If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare.
Good habits for your car
Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow. Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter.
The Corolla and Knobs
