Arranging the work for the Corolla
Engine repair for your 2019 Toyota Corolla CE: arranged with a trusted shop, never done by CarmaCars, with a rental if you need one. Engine work ranges from a leak to a rebuild; the shop inspects the car and quotes it.
Your car, your notes
Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them. Tell the shop the year, the trim and the engine: the 2.0L 4-cylinder. The engine is the 2.0L 4-cylinder, with front-wheel drive and an automatic (CVT).
What we arrange
You approve the shop's quote before any work. The shop sets the price and the time after seeing the car. You agree the price with the shop before any work starts.
Your rental while you wait
The rental is priced like any other on our site. We collect the rental when your car is back. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.
Between shop visits
Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance.
Getting a clear quote
Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours.
Over to you
Send the car's details and the job, and we take the next step.
