Engine repair for the 1998 Volvo FML

Your car, your notes
Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the FML. A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request.
Our part and the shop's part
You agree everything with the shop before work begins. You agree the price with the shop before any work starts. Send the car's details and what it needs; we take it from there.
Driving while yours is at the shop
We collect the rental when your car is back. We can have a rental ready the day your car goes in. We bring the car to your address in the Toronto area, or you collect it for free.
What to ask
Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts.
Good habits for your car
Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. Look at the tire tread before long trips. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due.
Make a request
Tell us what is wrong with the car, and we arrange the rest with a trusted shop.
Request engine repair
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
