Arranging the work for the VHD
Your 2016 Volvo VHD needs engine work? We arrange a trusted shop; CarmaCars does not do the work. Engine work ranges from a leak to a rebuild; the shop inspects the car and quotes it.
Your car, your notes
If you have the service history of your VHD, have it ready for the shop. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them.
How we help
We can deliver a rental to you while your car is at the shop. You agree everything with the shop before work begins. The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work.
A car meanwhile
A rental from us keeps you moving while the shop has your car. A rental keeps your week on track during the repair. Delivery and pickup are both options across the Toronto area.
Before the shop starts
Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon.
Car care, briefly
Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair. Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold.
Your move
A short request starts it: the car, the problem, and when suits you.
Request engine repair
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
