The 2020 Acura RDX Tech: Executive car service

For a car with a driver, here is what the 2020 Acura RDX Tech brings, and how to request one. Chauffeur bookings are by the hour, two hours minimum; send a request and we reply with the vehicle we can offer and the price.

Knobs and the RDX

Also close to Knobs: Johnson Crossroads, Elmhurst and Union.

The numbers in plain words

Power: the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo; drive: front-wheel drive. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

For 300 km of mixed driving, expect about 29 litres, from its 9.8 L/100 km rating. At our price setting, 1,000 km costs about $171.50.

Good uses for the RDX

It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.

Room inside

Being a compact SUV, it handles luggage, strollers and sports gear well.

Renting it

This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

From your dates to the handover

Start with a request. Choose the car, the pickup time and the return time, and send it without paying anything. You get an offer that says exactly what the rental costs before tax. Nothing is charged until you approve it and pay.

Every car lists its own deposit and the kilometres included each day. Book one day, one week, or up to 365 days at once. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.

Checking your details

At pickup you must be 18 or older and carry your original G2 or G licence. No maximum age, and a daily fee only for drivers under 26. Bring the card in your name that paid for the booking.

If you have no auto policy and no card benefit, the CarmaCars Protection Plan is the third option, priced in your offer. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. A quick licence and identity check happens before we confirm any booking.

When you know your dates

Ask for the car, read the offer, approve it if it suits you.
