Farmbrook and the A4

Next door to Farmbrook are Hannover, Crestwood Village and Mountain Village.

What the specs mean

The engine is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, with all-wheel drive and a 7-speed automatic. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

For 300 km of mixed driving, expect about 25 litres, from its 8.3 L/100 km rating. At our price setting, it costs about $12.87 to drive 100 km.

Inside and out

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. Luggage space is rated at 340 litres: about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

When the A4 makes sense

It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.

Rent this car

Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Pick it up from us for free, or have it brought to you.

Before pickup

Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. A young driver fee applies each day for drivers under 26. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.

You pick how damage to the car is handled before pickup: OPCF 27, a credit card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits are listed car by car, so you can compare before you ask. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.

Requesting a car

All you send at first is a request with the car and the dates, and it is free. You get an offer that says exactly what the rental costs before tax. If you approve, you pay and the car is yours for those dates.

You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. Allow 2 hours or more between your request and the pickup time.
