Bascom and the A4

Chapel Hill, Elberta and New Chapel Hill are the closest places to Bascom on our list.

Specs, explained

It runs the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, with all-wheel drive. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

Rated at 8.3 L/100 km combined, it needs around 25 litres for a 300 km round trip. Every 100 km costs about $12.87 in fuel at our price setting.

Is it right for your trip?

Its all-wheel drive suits winter roads and trips to ski country. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.

Inside and out

Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk. At 340 litres, the trunk fits about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. Tell us your dates and we check this car or the closest match. Pick it up from us for free, or have it brought to you.

Your request, our offer, your keys

To book, you request the car for your dates. There is no charge to send it and no obligation. We look at the request and send back an offer with the price for your exact dates. Approve the offer to book the car. That is the moment you pay, not before.

Every car on the site has a page of its own, with its calendar and its rates. From one day to 365, a single booking covers it. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.

What we check

If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. A young driver fee applies each day for drivers under 26. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.

Third-party liability is part of every rate, and damage to the car is handled by OPCF 27, a card benefit or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is released after the return, once the car is checked. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.
