Java and the Odyssey

We have no location in Java; CarmaCars rents from Toronto, about 3,178 km away. We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Java starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here.

The pages for Klinefelter, Ibis and Arrowhead Junction cover the areas next door.

Engine and fuel

Power comes from the 3.5L 6-cylinder, driving through a 10-speed automatic. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

Plan on about 32 litres per 300 km; the combined rating is 10.5 L/100 km. A 300 km round trip costs roughly $48.84 at our price setting.

Inside and out

Being a minivan, it carries people and their bags without fuss.

A good match for

It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.

Renting it

A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

The rules, briefly

Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. Age fees stop at 26: younger drivers pay a daily young driver fee. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.

Every rate includes liability to others. Damage to the car is covered by your choice: OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held before each rental; the amount is on the car's page. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.

How booking works

First you send a request with the car and the times. No card is charged for it. The reply is an offer you can read in full before you decide anything. When you approve the offer and pay, the car is booked for you.

Rates are set car by car and shown on each car's page. Stay as long as you need: up to 365 days a booking, then renew. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.
