Turo alternative: brown 2021 Honda Odyssey EX in Java

Turo alternative and the 2021 Honda Odyssey EX

For a rental car, here is what the 2021 Honda Odyssey EX brings, and how to request one. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar.

The Odyssey and Java

If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Java. Java is about 3,178 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area.

Other places near Java: Klinefelter, Ibis and Arrowhead Junction.

Under the hood

The 3.5L 6-cylinder does the work, through a 10-speed automatic. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

The EPA rates it at 10.5 L/100 km combined, so a 300 km weekend uses about 32 litres. At our price setting, driving 100 km costs about $16.28, and a 300 km weekend about $48.84.

What to expect from the Odyssey

A tall roof and wide doors make it easy to load people and bags.

Who it is for

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.

Renting this car

Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates.

Checking your details

Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. No maximum age, and a daily fee only for drivers under 26. At pickup, have your original licence and the payment card ready.

Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits are listed car by car, so you can compare before you ask. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.

Booking, step by step

Every rental begins with a request from you. It costs nothing and it does not hold the car. A staff member reads the request and sends the offer. We reply within 2 hours. The booking is confirmed when you approve the offer and pay it.

Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. Stay as long as you need: up to 365 days a booking, then renew. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.
