Turo alternative: green 2021 Honda Odyssey EX in Java

The 2021 Honda Odyssey EX: Turo alternative

For a rental car, the 2021 Honda Odyssey EX could fit; below, the figures and how booking works. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.

A note on Java

Java is about 3,178 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area. If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Java.

Close by are Klinefelter, Ibis and Arrowhead Junction, each with its own page.

What the specs mean

Under the hood: the 3.5L 6-cylinder and front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

For 300 km of mixed driving, expect about 32 litres, from its 10.5 L/100 km rating. In money, 1,000 km costs about $162.80 at our price setting.

Living with the Odyssey

As a minivan, it puts space for people and luggage first.

When the Odyssey makes sense

It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy. It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while.

Getting this car from us

A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below.

The rules, briefly

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more: that is where it starts. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. Bring the card in your name that paid for the booking.

If your own policy has OPCF 27 or your card covers rental cars, use that; otherwise add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. We check every driver; it takes a few minutes and protects everyone.

Booking made plain

Requests come first at CarmaCars. You name the car and the dates, and we take it from there. You then get an offer from us with the car, the dates and the total before tax. The car is yours for those dates once you approve and pay the offer.

Each car shows its rate for a day, a weekend day, a week and a month. The monthly rate covers a booking of up to 365 days. Leave at least 2 hours between your request and the pickup.
