Executive car service with this car
The 2002 Morgan Plus Eight is on this page for executive car service: here is what to know before you request one. Chauffeur bookings are by the hour, two hours minimum; send a request and we reply with the vehicle we can offer and the price.
Engine and fuel
The engine is the 3.9L 8-cylinder, with rear-wheel drive and a 5-speed manual. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.
For 300 km of mixed driving, expect about 41 litres, from its 13.8 L/100 km rating. In energy, every 100 km costs about $24.15 at our price setting.
Good uses for the Plus Eight
It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It uses more fuel than most, so it suits shorter trips or people who need its size.
What to expect from the Plus Eight
As a two-seat sports car, it puts the driving first and the luggage second.
Can you rent one?
Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. The handover is in person, at your address or at our location.
Who can rent
If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. The daily young driver fee is shown on each car's page, for drivers under 26. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.
Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. We confirm each driver's licence and identity the same way.
Request, offer, keys
Nothing to pay up front: the first step is simply a request. Then we send an offer. The offer shows the price before 13% HST and the deposit. You pay only once you approve the offer.
Compare cars side by side by opening their pages. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.
When you know your dates
Pick a car, send a request, and decide once you see the offer.
