The numbers in plain words

Its 1.6L 4-cylinder drives through an automatic (CVT). It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

Plan on about 22 litres per 300 km; the combined rating is 7.2 L/100 km. The fuel for 100 km comes to about $11.16 at our price setting.

Good uses for the Kicks

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits commuters, couples and business trips.

What the Kicks is like

As a mid-size car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. With 708 litres of luggage space by the EPA's measure, it takes bulky luggage, a stroller or sports gear.

Rent this car

This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer.

Rules for renters

You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. The daily young driver fee is shown on each car's page, for drivers under 26. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.

Liability to others is in the rate. Damage to the car is handled by your policy (OPCF 27), your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.

How it works

A short online request with the car and your times gets things moving, at no cost. The reply is an offer you can read in full before you decide anything. You decide: approve and pay, or let it go. No charge either way until you approve.

The rates you see on a car's page are the rates in your offer. Rent for a day, a week or up to 365 days in one booking. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.
