The Kicks and Farmbrook

We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Farmbrook starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here. Farmbrook is about 509 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area.

Hannover, Crestwood Village and Mountain Village are the closest places to Farmbrook on our list.

What the figures tell you

Its 1.6L 4-cylinder drives through an automatic (CVT). It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

Plan on about 22 litres per 300 km; the combined rating is 7.2 L/100 km. That works out to about $11.16 per 100 km at our price setting.

What to expect from the Kicks

As a mid-size car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. EPA lists 708 litres of luggage space, enough for bulky luggage, a stroller or sports gear.

Who it is for

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.

Can I rent it?

Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates.

Checking your details

You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. We accept young drivers; those under 26 pay a daily fee. The name on the card has to match the name on the licence.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits are listed car by car, so you can compare before you ask. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.

Booking in plain terms

You choose a car and your dates online and send a request. Sending it costs nothing. Our reply is an offer that lists the rate, the kilometres included and any delivery fee. The car is yours for those dates once you approve and pay the offer.

You can see every car's calendar and rates before you send anything. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. With 2 hours of notice or more, a same-day pickup can work when the car is free.
