Under the hood

The 1.6L 4-cylinder, paired with an automatic (CVT), drives it. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

The EPA rates it at 7.2 L/100 km combined, so a 300 km weekend uses about 22 litres. A 300 km round trip costs roughly $33.48 at our price setting.

A good match for

It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while. It suits commuters, couples and business trips.

Practical details

Being a mid-size car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. Luggage space is 708 litres, enough for bulky luggage, a stroller or sports gear.

How booking works

Every rental begins with a request from you. It costs nothing and it does not hold the car. We send the offer to your account and your email, with the total shown. You decide: approve and pay, or let it go. No charge either way until you approve.

The car pages show each car's rates, deposit and kilometres included. Weekly pricing starts at 7 days, and a trip never costs more than that rate for a week. With 2 hours of notice or more, a same-day pickup can work when the car is free.

Requirements

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more: that is where it starts. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.

Liability to other people is included in every rate. For the car itself, pick your own policy (OPCF 27), a card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.
