Engine and fuel

It runs the electric motor, with all-wheel drive. Being electric, it is quiet and quick from a stop, and it charges at home, at work or at public chargers. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

Energy use is rated at 18.6 kWh/100 km, about 56 kWh for 300 km. Its rated range is 507 km on a full charge; real range drops in cold weather and at highway speeds. A weekend of 300 km comes to about $8.37 at our price setting.

Space, size and seats

A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. For luggage, 425 litres means a family's bags for a long weekend.

Is it right for your trip?

It suits commuters, couples and business trips. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.

In our fleet

None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. Tell us your dates and we check this car or the closest match. Delivery covers the Toronto area, priced by distance in your offer; pickup from us is free.

The steps

First you send a request with the car and the times. No card is charged for it. Next comes our offer, with the confirmed car and every charge on one page. Your card is charged only when you approve the offer.

Each car has its own page with its photos, its rates and its calendar. The longer the booking, the lower the rate a day tends to be. Requests for later the same day work when there are at least 2 hours to spare.

Before you rent

Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. We accept young drivers; those under 26 pay a daily fee. A credit card in your name is needed, except on cars marked "no credit card needed", which take debit.

Choose before pickup how damage to the car is handled: your policy with OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. Name every driver in your request, and each is checked before pickup.
