The numbers in plain words

The powertrain to know here is the electric motor, with all-wheel drive. Being electric, it is quiet and quick from a stop, and it charges at home, at work or at public chargers. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

For every 100 km it uses about 18.6 kWh. Its rated range is 507 km on a full charge; real range drops in cold weather and at highway speeds. The electricity for 100 km comes to about $2.79 at our price setting.

How big it is

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. Luggage space is 425 litres, enough for a family's bags for a long weekend.

Good uses for the Model 3

It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends.

Getting this car from us

None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. Your offer shows the delivery fee if you want the car brought to you.

What to bring

Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. If any driver is under 26, a young driver fee is added for each day. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.

Choose before pickup how damage to the car is handled: your policy with OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car's deposit is listed on its page, so you know it before you ask. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.

From request to keys

First, a request: the car you like, when you need it, and where. No payment yet. Next comes our offer, with the confirmed car and every charge on one page. Pay when you approve, not a minute before.

Each car shows its rate for a day, a weekend day, a week and a month. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.

Your move

Ready? Request the car. If you change your mind before approving the offer, nothing is charged.
