A note on Bald Knobs

CarmaCars is based in Toronto, about 568 km from Bald Knobs, and does not deliver there. If you need it in Bald Knobs itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.

Merritt, Stiversville and Oldtown Flats are the closest places to Bald Knobs on our list.

Reading the spec sheet

The powertrain here is the electric motor with all-wheel drive and a 1-speed automatic. Being electric, it is quiet and quick from a stop, and it charges at home, at work or at public chargers. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

Energy use is rated at 18.9 kWh/100 km, about 57 kWh for 300 km. A full charge is rated for 488 km; plan for less in the cold. At our price setting, it costs about $2.84 to drive 100 km.

Practical details

As a compact SUV, it sits higher than a sedan, which makes getting in and loading easier.

Who rents the Model Y

Families, skiers and anyone with bulky luggage. It suits winter trips and weekends with more gear than people.

Can I rent it?

Tell us your dates and we check this car or the closest match. This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below.

Driver requirements

If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. Age fees stop at 26: younger drivers pay a daily young driver fee. We check that the card and the licence carry the same name.

If you have no auto policy and no card benefit, the CarmaCars Protection Plan is the third option, priced in your offer. Your deposit is held about 1 hour ahead of pickup and released after the return. Each extra driver is checked the same way and signs the rental agreement.

Your booking, in three steps

First, a request: the car you like, when you need it, and where. No payment yet. We answer with a written offer: the car, the dates, the price and the deposit. Say yes to the offer and pay; that is when the booking is made.

Every car has its own daily, weekend, weekly and monthly rate. The longer the booking, the lower the rate a day tends to be. Requests need at least 2 hours of notice before the pickup time.
