Specs, explained

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid is what moves it, with all-wheel drive. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

Fuel use is rated 8.3 L/100 km combined, so 300 km needs about 25 litres. In energy, every 100 km costs about $12.87 at our price setting.

Space and size

As a compact car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. Luggage space is 340 litres, enough for about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Who it is for

It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends. It suits commuters, couples and business trips.

Renting it

Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. We hand every car over in person, at your address or at our location.

Who qualifies

Drivers from 18 up, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, are welcome. Drivers below 26 pay a fee each day of the rental, and older drivers pay none. Cars marked "no credit card needed" accept a debit card in your name; the others need a credit card.

Three options cover damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your auto policy, a credit card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.

From request to keys

Tell us the car and the dates in a request. There is no fee for asking. The offer comes from a person, not a robot, and it carries the full price. You pay when you approve, and only then.

The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. Book by the week from 7 days, or by the month up to 365 days. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.
