The rules, briefly

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. Each day of the rental carries a young driver fee if a driver is under 26. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.

If your own policy has OPCF 27 or your card covers rental cars, use that; otherwise add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held for the rental and released after the car comes back and is checked. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.
