What the specs mean

The engine is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo, with all-wheel drive and an 8-speed automatic. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

Expect about 34 litres for every 300 km, going by its 11.4 L/100 km combined rating. Per 100 km, plan on roughly $19.95.

Space and size

Its SUV body gives a high seating position and an easy load height.

When the Q7 makes sense

It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while.

Can you rent one?

Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. We deliver around Toronto; pickup at our location is free.

What happens when you ask for a car

Start with a request. Choose the car, the pickup time and the return time, and send it without paying anything. We look at the request and send back an offer with the price for your exact dates. If the offer works for you, approve and pay to confirm. If not, you owe nothing.

Every car has its own daily, weekend, weekly and monthly rate. Book by the week from 7 days, or by the month up to 365 days. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.

Renting: the basics

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more are the starting point. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. At pickup, have your original licence and the payment card ready.

Liability to other people is included in every rate. For the car itself, pick your own policy (OPCF 27), a card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. Before confirming, we verify the licence and identity of each driver.
