From request to keys

A request is free and takes a few minutes: the car, your dates, and pickup or delivery. A real person reviews your request and sends an offer with the price spelled out. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.

Each car page lists what is included and what costs extra. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.

Before pickup

Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. The deposit is never taken when you book; it comes about 1 hour before pickup. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.
