The 1500 and Ruby

If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Ruby. CarmaCars is based in Toronto, about 3,105 km from Ruby, and does not deliver there.

Other places near Ruby: Old Glory, Oro Blanco and Casa Piedra.

Specs, explained

The 6.2L 8-cylinder supercharged, paired with an 8-speed automatic, drives it. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Four-wheel drive helps on rough ground and deep snow; on dry roads it behaves like any other vehicle.

Plan on about 59 litres per 300 km; the combined rating is 19.8 L/100 km. Expect about $34.65 per 100 km at our price setting.

A good match for

It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town. It uses more fuel than most, so it suits shorter trips or people who need its size.

Space and size

A pickup is long and tall, so plan for parking and low garages.

Renting the 1500 from CarmaCars

We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below.

From request to keys

Every rental begins with a request from you. It costs nothing and it does not hold the car. Back comes an offer you can read at your own pace, with every charge on it. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.

Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. Bookings run from one day up to 365 days at a time. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.

What to bring

Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. Young drivers are welcome: a daily fee applies under 26. We check that the card and the licence carry the same name.

You pick how damage to the car is handled before pickup: OPCF 27, a credit card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held about 1 hour ahead of pickup and released after the return. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.
