Renting the 2021 Ram 1500 TRX

For a rental car, the 2021 Ram 1500 TRX is one of many cars on CarmaCars, each with its own page. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.

Renting for Ruby

CarmaCars is based in Toronto, about 3,105 km from Ruby, and does not deliver there. We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Ruby starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here.

Close by are Old Glory, Oro Blanco and Casa Piedra, each with its own page.

Under the hood

It is powered by the 6.2L 8-cylinder supercharged, with four-wheel drive. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Four-wheel drive helps on rough ground and deep snow; on dry roads it behaves like any other vehicle.

The combined figure, 19.8 L/100 km, means roughly 59 litres for 300 km. That works out to about $34.65 per 100 km at our price setting.

When the 1500 makes sense

It suits moving day, renovation runs and anything that needs an open bed. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.

Space and size

As a pickup truck, it has an open bed for things that would never fit in a trunk.

Renting this car

Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

Licence, age and card

From age 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can send a request. Age fees stop at 26: younger drivers pay a daily young driver fee. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.

Third-party liability is part of every rate, and damage to the car is handled by OPCF 27, a card benefit or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. We verify licences and identity for every renter, with no exceptions.

How renting with us works

The process opens with a request from you, which costs nothing and binds you to nothing. The offer we send lists the car we confirm and the full price. If you approve, you pay and the car is yours for those dates.

Every car lists its own deposit and the kilometres included each day. The longer the booking, the lower the rate a day tends to be. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.
