A note on Hellen

CarmaCars is based in Toronto, about 632 km from Hellen, and does not deliver there. If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Hellen.

The pages for Williams Wharf, Long Cove Estates and Wells Cove cover the areas next door.

Specs, explained

The electric motor does the work, through a 1-speed automatic. It is fully electric: no gas at all, and you return it with the charge it had at pickup. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

It uses 15.6 kWh per 100 km, so 300 km takes about 47 kWh of charge. A full charge is rated for 568 km; plan for less in the cold. A 300 km weekend costs about $7.02 in energy at our price setting.

Size and space

As a mid-size car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. In plain terms, its 425 litres of luggage space hold a family's bags for a long weekend.

Is it right for your trip?

It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.

Getting this car from us

Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

Rules for renters

Every driver must be 18 or older with an Ontario G2 or G licence. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. Your original licence, not a photo, comes with you to the handover.

Three options cover damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your auto policy, a credit card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. We confirm each driver's licence and identity the same way.

Request, offer, keys

Requests are free: choose a car, add your dates, and send it. You receive an offer with the price, the deposit and what is included. The booking is confirmed when you approve the offer and pay it.

Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.

One more step

When you have your dates, send a request. It is free, and the offer shows the full price.
