Specs, explained

The powertrain here is the electric motor with all-wheel drive and a 1-speed automatic. It is fully electric: no gas at all, and you return it with the charge it had at pickup. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

For every 100 km it uses about 18.6 kWh. On paper it goes 507 km between charges, less in winter. In energy, every 100 km costs about $2.79 at our price setting.

Room inside

A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. EPA lists 425 litres of luggage space, enough for a family's bags for a long weekend.

A good match for

It suits city driving and anyone with charging at home or work. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.

Our Model 3 cars

Meanwhile, 7 similar cars are listed below. There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. Delivery covers the Toronto area, priced by distance in your offer; pickup from us is free.

Renting: the basics

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. Age fees stop at 26: younger drivers pay a daily young driver fee. Your original licence, not a photo, comes with you to the handover.

Third-party liability is part of every rate, and damage to the car is handled by OPCF 27, a card benefit or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held for the rental and released after the car comes back and is checked. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.

What to expect when you book

Tell us the car and the dates in a request. There is no fee for asking. The reply is an offer you can read in full before you decide anything. Offers stay open for 24 hours. Approve one and pay to book the car.

Every car has its own daily, weekend, weekly and monthly rate. From 7 days, the weekly rate applies; up to 365 days, a trip never costs more than the monthly rate. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.
