A note on Java

We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Java starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here. We have no location in Java; CarmaCars rents from Toronto, about 1,639 km away.

Places around Java include Selby, Lowry and Sitka.

Reading the spec sheet

It uses the 1.8L 4-cylinder and front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

Fuel use is rated 7.5 L/100 km combined, so 300 km needs about 23 litres. That works out to about $11.63 per 100 km at our price setting.

Who the Corolla suits

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.

Living with the Corolla

A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. In plain terms, its 368 litres of luggage space hold about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

In our fleet

There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Meanwhile, 7 similar cars are listed below. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer.

How renting with us works

Your part at the start is short: choose a car and dates and send a free request. Then we send an offer. The offer shows the price before 13% HST and the deposit. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.

Open a car to see its photos, rates, deposit and kilometres included. Weekly pricing starts at 7 days, and a trip never costs more than that rate for a week. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.

Before you rent

You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. Each day of the rental carries a young driver fee if a driver is under 26. You show your original licence and your card when we hand you the keys.

Every rate includes third-party liability. The car itself needs one of three options: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. Licence and identity checks happen before the booking is confirmed.
