What the figures tell you

Power: the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid; drive: all-wheel drive. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

A combined rating of 8.3 L/100 km works out to about 25 litres per 300 km. Every 100 km costs about $12.87 in fuel at our price setting.

Good uses for the A4

It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends. Its all-wheel drive suits winter roads and trips to ski country.

Space and size

Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk. For luggage, 340 litres means about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

In our fleet

Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Your offer shows the delivery fee if you want the car brought to you.

Your booking, in three steps

Choose the car and your times, then send a request. A request does not hold the car, and it costs nothing. A person replies with an offer priced for your dates, not an estimate. Approve it and the car is booked; decline it and nothing happens.

Each car has its own page with its photos, its rates and its calendar. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. Requests for later the same day work when there are at least 2 hours to spare.

Before you rent

Drivers 18 and older can rent with a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. Young drivers are welcome: a daily fee applies under 26. Your licence and the card you paid with come with you to the pickup.

If your own policy has OPCF 27 or your card covers rental cars, use that; otherwise add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken shortly before pickup, and the balance comes back after the return. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.
